PAL and fourth-grade cooking

Mr. H's 4th grade and the PAL classroom have begun a collaborative partnership.  Students visit each other's rooms and work together. Our cooking experience was a wonderful way to integrate collaboration, science, and math. Students were placed into groups between the two rooms and given one of three recipes. All members of the group had a specific job and worked together to cook their recipe. At the end of the cooking experience, we had a taste-test of the three recipes and graphed our favorite!
