BICO Camping Trip

On Friday June 8th the SBCS BICO club spent the night camping on a farm in Davidsonville. Of course everyone worked on learning the details of traditional camping skills such as pitching a tent, collecting firewood, making a fire, roasting marshmallows, and cooking pancakes. However, since the club was surrounded by a real farm everyone also got some truly unique experiences including feeding horses by hand, milking goats, catching chickens (not easy), collecting fresh eggs for breakfast, picking berries (yum), and hunting for toads and crayfish. Youth participants and adult volunteers all agreed it was a spectacularly memorable experience!
