On Saturday November 11th the SBCS BICO club spent a day learning how to get and stay warm. The outing began with a workshop and relays to learn about and build an outfit that consists of the 3 key layers needed to keep warm. Next, the club brainstormed other ways to get warm such as: to start moving, stand in the sun, and huddle with your group. Everyone braved the freezing temperatures for a hike through Carroll Park. Can you believe there were yellow flowers taller than most students in bloom! Upon returning to the school youth learned how to prep a delicious and hot lunch. It was a fabulously cold day that never slowed the club down.
