Fitness and Adventure

canoeThe Fitness and Adventure program at SBCS combines a 21st century physical education curriculum with outdoor experiences.  It challenges students to learn how to manage their emotional responses to success and failure, and to collaboration and competition.  Fitness and Adventure classes in the gym, combined with outdoor exploration and camping experiences, create opportunities for students to stretch their comfort zones and try new things.  The SBCS Fitness and Adventure program culminates with a week-long Outward Bound camping trip in 8th Grade
